We took the same lightweight material (the outer shell is micro denier nylon taslon with a coating layer, then a laminate layer of Entrant-HB, and then tricot layer) and added a secoud layer around the lower leg for increased durability. Additional new features include an articulated knee that reduces excess material to provide a better fit, and a front-mounted chest pocket system. The pocket stystem (the same as on our top of the line guide wader) consists of two medium-sized, zippered fly box pockets, a divided tippet storage area and a fleece-lined hand warmer pocket.
